Overview

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Development Representative (SDR) to fuel our growth in the AI space. In this role, you’ll be the critical first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for identifying and generating qualified leads to drive our sales pipeline. You’ll work closely with our Account Executives and CEO to engage prospects, identify customer needs, and lay the foundation for long-term partnerships.


What you’ll do

  • Drive prospecting and lead generation efforts to identify and qualify new sales opportunities across various channels.
  • Create and nurture relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and aligning them with Cogna’s value proposition.
  • Set up meetings for Account Executives and provide essential context to enable productive conversations.
  • Conduct market research, account mapping, and analysis to identify key opportunities that refine our sales strategy.
  • Assist in developing sales materials that address client pain points and effectively showcase Cogna’s solutions.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to optimise lead generation processes, identifying areas for improvement to drive impactful results.


What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in SaaS sales or lead generation, ideally within a high-growth startup or enterprise environment.
  • Self-starter mentality, with a strong drive to initiate conversations and build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts in a clear, concise way.
  • Familiarity with sales frameworks, like MEDDIC, and experience working with CRM systems.
  • Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to new challenges with ease.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
